Major Exit Scam by NiftyMoji Developers
The NFT space has been all about rainbows and unicorns. An incident with a SushiChef paved the way for an old enemy of all crypto investors: the exit scam. — The developers of non-fungible token project NiftyMoji pulled an exit scam as they have closed the official website, all social media and dumped their tokens on the market. Also the associated Coinbreeder accounts have vanished. The developers ran off with an estimated amount of one million dollars. ▶▶▶ Read more
Christie’s Auctioned Bitcoin Artwork for $131.250
Even though the auction at Christie’s was for BOTH a physical piece and a non-fungible token, it was at least the first time an artwork was this heavily inspired by the crypto industry. — Auction house Christie’s New York auctioned the Bitcoin artwork Block 21, which is one piece of Portraits of a Mind, for a little over 131 thousand dollars. Google Cloud Moving into EOS
Google is slowly becoming more active in the blockchain space. Not only as a service provider for hosting, but also as an active participant. — Block.One has announced that Google Cloud will join the EOS blockchain and will take steps to become an EOS network block producer. The Six Dragons Gets Playstation License
We’re still waiting for a big game studio to embrace blockchain technology, so why create a great blockchain game and release it on those consoles yourself? — Studio boss Savvas Lazopoulos has announced that Blockpegnio, the studio behind the blockchain-powered role playing game The Six Dragons, is now a licensed Playstation partner. Cool developments happening at Metamask. Their browser plugin and mobile app will soon integrate options to swap tokens inside the app! — The exchange tool will utilize different services, including Uniswap and Kyber. The first ones sold already for 6 ETH. But now all one hundred avatars are available yet. — Starting from this Wednesday Polygonal Mind will auction 100 unique avatars on Opensea through a dutch auction. The price on these digital characters will drop from 6.1 ETH to 0.5 ETH over a period of 7 days. Four Games Confirmed for Play to Earn Game Festival
This week has been a busy one, as we’ve announced four different games that will be joining the Play to Earn Game Festival. First we announced the breeding and battle game Axie Infinity, followed by the fully decentralized game Soccer Manager Elite and the massively multiplayer online strategy game Taurion. This Friday we’re happy to announce that The Sandbox will be joining us as well.
The Play to Earn Game Festival is powered by Synergy of Serra. Alongside this deck building trading card game we will introduce gamers into a variety of awesome games. Each of those games allows players to earn digital rewards with actual value. At the event we will organize a variety of raffles in which visitors can win AWESOME prizes!
