In Ready Player One people move into the virtual world of The Oasis because the real world is awful. A strong divide in power, wealth and resources paved the way for an alternative reality to thrive. In our current society we aren’t there yet, but the problems surrounding the Corona virus, the fall of the stock market, social paranoia, and rise of technologically and blockchain services could push us in that direction. Maybe we are closer to a scenario like Ready Player One than we think.

Gamers and investors have spend 816 dollars on average on the F1 Delta Time crate sale that ended on Tuesday. Overall Animoca Brands sold 2375 crates, bringing in a total of 364.270 dollars. F1 Delta Time Auctions Race Car for Charity
Animoca Brands is auctioning an Apex race car for its upcoming F1 Delta Time game in order to raise money for charity. They want to offer financial support in the battle against bush fires in Australia. The full 100 percent of the proceeds from the auction of the Australia Edition 2020 go to NSW Rural Fire Service Association, WIRES, & Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief & Recovery Fund. The company is giving out 13 thousand dollars worth of DAI to the best integrations into blockchain-powered games as part of their Dai Gaming Initiative. They believe that their stablecoin allows for cross-gaming economies with more depth.
